Another Late Up Date

Nothing really new to report, but I wanted everyone to know that out BLOG is active.

As news arises about our holiday schedule, I will keep you updated.

If I don't have an entry before Halloween, don't do anything too spooky!!

Ike Up Date

As most of you know by now, we tried to schedule Thursday and Monday patients to earlier this week. I know we probably did NOT reach everyone and we apologize for any inconvenience if you came and the office was closed. If you were missed call or come in and we will work you in ASAP.

It appears that we will miss most the the force of Hurricane Ike http://www.huffingtonpost.com/huff-wires/20080912/ike/images/b1aecf8f-d9b9-4d35-ade3-2cb97b3fe0ca.jpg

as it is going to Texas --- maybe this is one time that they hope that NOT EVERYTHING is BIGGER in
TEXAS.

We wish you all good health and good fortune.

The Surge

I am a little more concerned about the SURGE today. The Surge may have been good for Iraq, but it definitely will NOT be good for Slidell and Mandeville.

Our prayers are with you and hope life will be back to "normal" quickly.

It is hurricane season again!!!!!

As you can see it has been a long time since we have updated this blog!!! We are reactivating it as a communication portal for our patients if Gustaf or another hurricane interrupts our regular office operation.

We hope that this will help us keep you updated on how to reach us ... office hours ... or possible alternative office locations.

It may help us keep your Prescriptions current - we hope!!

Our biggest hope, is of course that there will be NO hurricane or disruption of our office or your lives.

Dr. Hanawalt has a big Mac Attack

undefined

I apologize that it has been so long since I have updated our BLOG; blame it on FEMEA and the holidays. I hope each of you had a wonderful and safe holiday.

As most of you probably already know, Dr. Hanawalt (better know by most of us as Betty) lost her home in Hurricane Katrina. This has hastened her “retirement” to Virginia Beach where a lot of her family live. This has caused all of us abandonment issues!

The above having been said, yesterday was a Momentous Day – Dr. Hanawalt “saw” her first patient by way of video conferencing on her brand new shinny Apple iMac – with Dr. Hanawalt in Virginia Beach and the patient here in our office. Isn’t technology wonderful.

Dr. H said, “Once you go Mac, you never go back.”
